Student Services Consulting
Lead with Data. Support with Purpose.
The Problem:
Good People, No System
You already have student services professionals—counselors, social workers, behavior specialists—but chances are, they’re working in isolation. They're putting out fires, reacting to daily challenges, and navigating without clear direction. There's little time to collaborate, no structured use of data, and often, no formal policy or procedure guiding the work.
Even though you have the right people, you’re missing the right system. You know your team could be doing more, but you’re not sure how to lead or support them effectively. That’s where I come in.
The Solution:
Strategic Consulting Rooted in the ASCA Model and MTSS
I provide school and district leaders with expert consulting to develop and implement a Comprehensive Student Services Program based on the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) model and a robust Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). This isn't just theory—it's a framework grounded in data, collaboration, and measurable outcomes.
MTSS is a tiered model designed to support all students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Tier 1 represents universal supports that benefit every student. Tier 2 involves targeted strategies for students who need a bit more. Tier 3 offers intensive, individualized interventions for those with significant needs. Together, these tiers create a responsive, data-informed system that adapts to real student needs.
I help you bring this framework to life—not just on paper, but in practice, with the tools, language, and systems your team needs to thrive.
Why Me?
Grace Tucker, LCMHC,
Founder of Annie’s Creative Counseling
I’m a master’s-level interventionist with a proven record of transforming student support systems from reactive to strategic. With over five years of experience leading interdisciplinary student services teams, I bring both the vision and the practical tools to drive real change in schools.
My work has led to a reduction in chronic absenteeism by developing and implementing whole-school attendance initiatives rooted in culture, consistency, and clearly communicated policies. I’ve helped schools decrease behavioral incidents by introducing behavior matrices, setting clear expectations, and embedding Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) into daily routines.
To address mental health crises, I’ve supported schools in implementing comprehensive social-emotional learning (SEL) curricula that build students' skills in self-regulation, resilience, and conflict resolution—before crises happen.
I’m ASCA-trained, experienced in crisis leadership, and I’ve collaborated with institutions like UNC Charlotte to bring trauma-informed practices into school systems. My approach is centered on sustainable, data-driven solutions that empower student services teams to lead with clarity, compassion, and consistency.
When you work with me, you're not just getting a consultant—you're gaining a strategic partner committed to building lasting change for your students and staff.
What We’ll Do Together
Our work begins with a deep dive into your current systems, team structures, and available data. We start by assessing where you are and identifying both strengths and gaps. From there, we co-design a plan tailored to your school’s unique context.
We’ll develop clear systems for student support that are grounded in both the ASCA National Model and the MTSS framework. We’ll create policies and procedures that remove guesswork and help your team act consistently and confidently. Together, we’ll implement tools that allow your team to use data—attendance, behavior, academic progress, SEL screener results—to make informed, equitable decisions for every student.
This process is collaborative, strategic, and focused on sustainable growth. We won’t just build systems—we’ll build your team’s capacity to lead those systems effectively.
What Change Looks Like
In the first year, you’ll begin to see increased cohesion among your student services team. With coaching and shared goals, they’ll begin working collaboratively rather than in silos.
By year two, the systems we’ve designed together will start to take root. You’ll see clearer protocols, streamlined communication, and more strategic use of data across your MTSS framework.
By year three, your school will be running on a fully implemented, data-driven model of student support. Teams will be empowered, students will be better served, and school leaders will be equipped with systems that support accountability and success.
Let’s Move from Firefighting to Framework
Your team doesn’t need more pressure—they need a system they can trust and a leader who can help them build it. Whether you're just beginning your student services journey or ready to restructure and refocus, I’m here to help you turn potential into progress.
It’s time to lead with data. It’s time to support with purpose.
Let’s talk about your school’s needs.
